When did it become alright for a child to behave this way and to call his mother a whore and fat??? I understand that in today’s society people would rather video tape their child exercising bad behavior than showing the child a little discipline, but when you put other people’s live at risk it has gone to far. Trust me, if this child had been disciplined when he was younger, this type of behavior would not be occurring today.
Having raised a male child and as a single mother, I might add, I understand all the trials they may put you through, but the one thing you must never allow is for your child to disrespect you. Sadly I have seen little girls act just a badly and even worse. Parent fear that if they discipline their child, the child may not like them, the child may not be their friend, well guess what you are NOT your child’s friend you are their parent. There is no law on the books that says a parent must be a friend to their child.
So for all you parents who have never disciplined your child with more than a time out or a threat of restriction to their home or removing the privilege of using a cell phone, computer, etc. I have the perfect discipline technique for you and you will probably only have to use it once. If your child has an ounce of intelligence you will never have to use the full technique. Here goes… it is real simple….
Step 1 – The next time your child miss behaves you ask them if they like their room, school, friends, toys, electronics, and family members etc., etc, etc….
If the child says yes they will miss all the thing you listed then you go to Step 2(a).
Step 2(a) – You tell your little darling that if they continue misbehaving then you will be left with no choice but to call the police department and have them remove you from the home. You then make sure and let them know that if they are removed from the home it is their life that will change because they will not be able to take their cell phone, games, computers, books, etc. with them. You further inform them that your life will not change that much, because you will be allowed to stay in your home, keep your job, and continue on with life. It is their life which will change because they will be put in foster care which doesn’t guarantee what type of home they will live in or what school district they will be enrolled in.
If the child says NO they will not miss all the things you listed then you go to Step 2(b).
Step 2(b) – You then ask you child if they would mind you making a quick call to the police department to take care of their problem. Trust me this will get your child’s attention and they will probably ask “what are your talking about?” At this time you will tell them that since you are such a horrible parent and they hate being in their home you believe that it would be best that you call the police and have them take the child from the home. You then inform them that they will not be able to take any of their electronics, telephone, games, books, etc. You let them know that they will be placed in a foster home that will probably be a better fit for them.
If your child chooses to call your bluff then call the police department and let an officer come out to your home. In front of your child explain the situation to the officer and describe the on going bad behavior. Explain to the officer that you have explained to your child that if they are removed from the home they will probably be put in foster care. And make sure you ask the officer “Isn’t it true that I have a right to ask that my child be removed from my care and custody?”.
Now a message to the mother of the little darling in the video above…. The next time your little darling acts this way please do your fellow drivers a favor and pull over to the side of the road. Then call the police and let them know that your child is out of control and attempting to harm you and that you fear that his actions will cause an accident. Keep this video on your phone so you can show that his bad behavior is on going and out of control.
