What Democrats forget is amazing to me.  Here are just a few of the things that Democrats seem to forget…

Immigration Policies –

The United States is viewed worldwide as an extremely desirable destination.  It has numerous incentives which draw foreigners to the United States.  The Gallup Organization has conducted international polls and has found that more than 165 million adults in 148 foreign countries would, if they could, move to the United States.  This makes it the MOST desired destination country for migrants worldwide.  Some of the incentives that draw foreigners to the United States include better opportunities for employment, a much greater degree of freedom, avoidance of political oppression, the opportunity to rejoin loved one, the prospect of providing better lives for themselves and their family, and for the educational and medical services benefits.

We have an Immigration System in place (https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/how-united-states-immigration-system-works) which has worked for many years.  Millions of U.S. Citizens have immigrated to the United States legally.  There is a difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien.  A lot of Democratic Politicians are nothing more than smooth talking con men.  Take a look at the past eight years; the term illegal alien has been changed to undocumented immigrant.  An immigrant is a person who has come to the United States legally.  The immigrant may be here for a number of reasons, it maybe work related, education related, they may have married a U.S. citizen, or they may have sought out immigration through Humanitarian Relief.  For any of these immigrants to become U.S. Citizens they must be at least 18 years of age, complete an application, demonstrate continuous residency, demonstrate “good moral character”, pass English and U.S. history and civics exams (with certain exceptions), and pay an application fee, among other requirements.

According to the American Immigration Council there are approximately 1.5 million undocumented children in the United States.  This means that there are in excess of one million illegal alien parents in this country.  The Department of Homeland Security has estimated that there are 11.4 million illegal aliens in the United States as of 2012.  The Pew Hispanic Center estimates that 6-7 million illegal aliens came to the United States via illegal entry, crossing the border with the assistance of people smugglers (coyotajes).  Another 4 to 5.5 million enter with a legal visa (tourist or traveler visa) and then just overstay their visit.

There is only one true cause for individuals to enter the United States illegally and that is to circumvent the legal immigration process.  If we don’t allow the enforcement of the laws currently on the books we become no better than the lawless countries that so many are fleeing from.

Health care –

For over 50 years the United States Government has provided health insurance for most of the elderly and low income families residing in the United States.  On July 30, 1965 President Johnson enacted the Medicare/Medicade programs by signing amendments to the Social Security Act.  Medicare is health insurance managed by the U.S. Government for people age 65 or older and for some people under the age of 65 with certain disabilities.  Medicaid is health insurance available to certain people and families who have limited income and resources.  It covers an estimated 58 million people.

In 1986 Congress passed the Emergency Medical and Treatment Labor Act which explicitly forbids the denial of care to indigent or uninsured patients based on a lack of ability to pay by any public or private hospital.

Total health spending, as of May 2014, in America is a massive $2.7 trillion, or 17% of GDP. In 2012 Donald Berwick, a former head of the Centres  for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Andrew Hackbarth of the RAND Corporation, estimated that Medicare and Medicaid fraud added as much as $98 billion to the annual Medicare and Medicaid spending and up to $272 billion across the entire health system.  While fraud investigators may crackdown on a scam in one state, it may pop up in a different state, run by relatives of the original perpetrators.  Scams and the perpetrators committing the scams have become more sophisticated and we are seeing doctors, pharmacies and patients working together.  Some criminals are switching from cocaine trafficking to prescription-drug fraud because the risk-adjusted rewards are higher; the money is still good, the work safer, and the penalties, if caught, is lighter.

Fraud and abuse in Medicaid and Medicare cost states billions of dollars every year and diverts funds that could and should be used for legitimate health care services.

While there have been many requesting an overhaul of Medicare/Medicade, Obama choose to implement his now infamous “ObamaCare” which was doomed for failure from the beginning.  He could have fixed the insurance available to those in need, but he choose to push through “ObamaCare” costing taxpayers millions of additional tax dollars in higher premiums, losing their doctors, and loosing the policies they currently had.  When Nancy Pelosi said “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy” showed that either no one cared what was in the bill they just wanted it passed, or they knew what was in the bill and knew that Obama had intentionally and repeatedly lied to  the citizens of the United States.

Raising minimum wage to $15 per hour –

There are millions of democrats who are not paying their lowest paid employees $15 per hour; are they waiting for the government to tell them to do so?  Isn’t that hypocritical?

There are millions of small business who cannot absorb the pay increase and would have to 1) layoff employees, 2) raise their prices, or 3) close up shop.  I heard from one democrat who suggested that the increase apply only to businesses with a certain amount of sales.  So now democrats want to discriminate against those who work for small businesses?  Little hypocrite don’t you think?

You hear a lot of people yelling that Walmart should raise their starting wages from minimum wage to $15.00 per hour.  It is said that Costco pays their employees $15.00 per hour so Walmart should do the same and the only reason they don’t is because the owners are money hungry individuals who don’t care about its employees.  Well let take a look at a few facts:

The current federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour yet it appears that Walmart’s starting wages range from $9.17 to $13.29 per hour.  To get to $15.00 an hour it would be an increase of $5.83 per hour.  If Walmart were to raise their minimum wage to $15.00 per hour and to be fair raise all employee wages by $5.83 per hour it would cost them more than $12,243 million dollars per year.

No one is telling you to shop at Walmart!  If you don’t like their practices then don’t shop there.  Costco targets a more elite cliental, charge more for their products and charge you to pass through their threshold.  Costco earn over $2 billion per year in membership sales alone.  The majority of people who shop at Walmart cannot afford the membership fees and the prices charged at Costco.

Global Warming –

Global Warming has been a topic of discussion for over 20 years now.  There have been individuals and companies who have made millions of dollars because of the Global Warming Claim.  Al Gore screamed at the top of his lungs about Global Warming yet the foot print he was leaving showed that he didn’t practice what he preached.  There have been reports prepared and completed by scientists stating that there was evidence that Global Warming is a fact.  What you must remember is that these scientists were paid to complete these reports.  At the same time there have been reports by scientists debunking the global warming reports.  The media having its own agenda, for years, continued to bash anyone who spoke against Global Warming.

Sex Scandals –

We all know that Bill Clinton was caught with his pants down, literally and figuratively.  Even though he was impeached he remained in office.  I said back then and continue to say that Bill Clinton taught our children that it was alright to be unfaithful to their spouses and the rest of the government lowered the moral values of this once great nation by their lack of courage and moral convictions to be more outspoken.  By her actions, Hillary told women that they should condone their husbands bad behavior.  She is an enabler, defender and accomplice to a sexual predator.  She showed that she has no self respect and is only seeking political advantages.  She also taught her daughter that the sanctity of marriage didn’t meant nothing.  Yet years later and many public affairs later she adorns her daughter in a lavish church wedding.  Why I have no clue because she nor her husband believe in the vows they took so why encourage your child to take those same vows that have no meaning.

Now let us address Virginia Democrat, 57 year old, Joseph Morrissey, who won his election (2015) amid a teenage sex scandal and conviction.  He was found guilty of having a sexual relationship with a teenage employee.  He was initially sentenced to 12 months in jail with six months suspended, only serving three months though.  During his jail term he was enrolled in a work-release program that allowed him to work as a legislator and lawyer by day, while spending nights in jail.

During her term as Director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Michele Leonhart failed to fire five agents who admitted to taking part in sex parties paid for by the Columbian  Drug Cartels.  It wasn’t until after a group of bipartisan congressional leaders criticized her actions or should I say lack of action that she choose to retire.

Senator David Vitter a Republican out of Louisiana was involved in a sex scandal regarding prostitutes in 2007.  The incident in question took place around 2000.  In 2010 he ran for re-election and kept his seat.  In 2015 he was running for Governor and was facing off against Democratic rival, John Bel Edwards, who eagerly reminded voters about the senator’s scandal.  Vitter lost the election.

The Clinton follies did not end when he left office.  Oh no, he went on to officiate the wedding of Representative Anthony Weiner  and Huma Abedin, Personal Aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in July of 2010.  Less than a year later he, Weiner, was claiming to reporters that his Twitter account got hacked, after it was reported that lewd pictures appeared on his account.  On June 11, 2011 he asks for a “short leave of absence” to seek treatment.  On June 16, 2011 he announces his resignation from Congress.  On December 21, 2011 Abedin gave birth to their first child.  In May of 2013 Weiner announces he is running for Mayor of New York City.  In July of 2013 screen shots of sexual conversations between Weiner and a woman, not his wife, were released.  I guess this proves that “birds of a feather flock together”.

It has been known for years the Capitol Hill has allowed BAD BEHAVIOR to fester for decades.

HILLARY’S LOSS –

Prior to September 10, 2016 there were millions of people who, for voting purposes, were classified Republican and truly thinking about not casting their vote in November 2016; then shit hit the fan.  It was on this day in history that Hillary Clinton took down her own campaign.

Hillary Clinton stated “To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorable, Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.”  She then went on to say “And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up.  He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million.  He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric.”  Hillary then said some of these people are “irredeemable” and “not American”.  She then went on to describe the rest of Trump’s supporters as people who are looking for change in any form because of economic anxiety and urged her supporters to EMPATHIZE with them.

It only took Hillary two days to realize her mistake at which time she expressed “regret” for her comments in which she said “half of Donald Trump’s supporters are DEPLORABLES”.  She said “Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that’s never a good idea.  I regret saying ‘half’ – that was wrong.”  She then went on to vow to call out “bigotry” in Trumps campaign.

This half hearted apology was too little too late.  By the time of the apology all those who were thinking of staying at home and not casting their vote had become a part of the “DEPLORABLE NATION”.  Vowing to cast a vote for Trump even if they didn’t like him.  He was the lesser of the two evils….
